Mr. Klink began practicing in the area of labor and employment law in 1976 as an associate with the Jacksonville law firm of Mahoney, Hadlow & Adams. He became a shareholder at Mahoney in 1979 and continued representing employers in labor and employment related matters until 1982. In 1982 Mr. Klink started his own law firm and became one of the first attorneys in Jacksonville to establish a law firm devoted primarily to the representation of employees involving labor and employment related claims against employers.
Prior to entering the private practice of law, Mr. Klink was an Assistant Staff Judge Advocate from 1973 to 1975, and in 1975 he became the head of the Mayport Branch Legal Office.
Mr. Klink has volunteered a substantial amount of his time to perform pro bono work through various bar and legal aid organizations since 1973. In 1980 Mr. Klink was named to the board of directors for the Jacksonville Area Legal Aid organization. In 2000, Mr. Klink was awarded the H.A.V.E. a heart award for Outstanding Pro Bono Services by the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
Mr. Klink was a past President of the Jacksonville Chapter of the Federal Bar Association and is currently a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association , National Employment Lawyers Association, and Florida NELA.
Mr. Klink graduated with high honors with a B.A. degree from the University of Florida in 1969 and he graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan in 1972 where he obtained his Juris Doctorate degree.
Mr. Klink is admitted to practice before all courts of the state of Florida, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.
